A Message from Lawrence Ewing Trenton Girl Scouts:

::: Troop $$$ Policy Reminders ::: COUNCIL / NATIONAL Policy... not just a LET Policy

ALL Troops are prohibited from keeping/holding individual girl earning accounts.

*** All monies earned in Girl Scout Cookie/QSP Programs and TROOP MEE's are the property of the entire troop and may not be held in reserve for individual girls as some leaders have done in the past. All fundraising profits are 'community property'.

*** This policy also covers occasions when a girl may move to a different troop during her scouting career. No previous funds raised travel with the scout to a new troop assignment.

*** Troop MEE’s for group Silver/Gold or TROOP Trips are considered community property, funds are for use by the entire troop, within the troop account.

*** Personal MEE’s --- those approved by Council specifically for individual Silver/Gold Projects and Destinations of course remain tagged for that scout alone.

*** Scouts who are registered as Juliette’s / Individual Scouts and ZIP Troop Members continue to have their funds held and administered at Council as previously established by Council.
